Every girl knows what I’m asking, or actually saying, stating, proclaiming.
We’ve all been there.
We’ve all felt them.
Those little fluttery feelings inside your stomach that either make you feel like you’re going to pass out or ralph your lunch up. It’s that feeling that you get right before you walk in the door and you know he’ll be sitting right there, cold stout in hand, welcoming smile on face and open arms...only for you.
So how long are these little feelings suppose to last? How long do they last for women and/or men for that matter? Wait..., do men even get them?
I personally think there is no better feeling than to know your body physically changes when you hear your cell phone chirp, vibrate or jam your favorite tune...that you’ve, of course, assigned to them. You know those cell phone commercials, were literal confetti and glitter fling out of your phone when you get a text from that special person, hence making a mess in the cab you’re taking or all over your desk at work.
Those are the best.
I know immediately if I like someone because my general area, instantly gets 10 degrees hotter and I sweat. Not a lot, like gross, ewe Leslie just ran 7 miles sweat, but a cute, light, glow on my face. And I have to take a deep breath.
If your butterflies stick around forever, I think that is ideal. I would hope most married people would say, it could quite possibly be the secret to a long, successful and healthy relationship.
I’m lucky enough to have my own glitter-giver at this current moment in time, and couldn’t be happier with the messes he makes, twss. And I hope my butterflies stick around, for the long haul.
